Marketing

Hosts are able to market to their previous event attendees to engage them and increase their conversions.

All campaigns will be send to all previous attendees.

Creating a Campaign

To create a marketing campaign head to the marketing page in the Host Dashboard. Once their you can click create campaign.

Campaign Types

Campaigns can be one of two types:

• Text
• Email

Campaigns have a restriction of 100 characters to prevent spam.

Campaign Audiences

We allow hosts to bring their own contacts with them to use in our platform. To import contacts you should go to the manage audiences page in the marketing tab.

All contact imports must be in the CSV file format. We expect your file to have exactly these 3 columns:

• Name
• Phone
• Email

Any other layouts or file types won't be accepted.

Restrictions

Campaigns should not be used for spam, so MyPlots takes action against this in two ways.

1. Teams are restricted to 4 marketing campaigns per week.
2. If a team is found to be abusing campaigns and/or sending inappropriate messages the team will be banned from hosting on the platform and the creator of the campaign will be blacklisted from further use of MyPlots.
